church outing

I ended up at my conservative church's october fest tonight in my kilt and everyone loved it. The women asked me were to get a kilt, one wanted one for her sons and the others just wanted to know why I had a kilt on. I said "for the fun". The guy's, well they just looked. There's just no way (as you know) how to tell someone what it's like to be kilted. I know that my wife was proud of me. The Pastor of my Church commented on the kilt too.
At church or the hardware store it just fun.

BTW... I always thought that the October Fest thing was a German tradition of "eating and drinking to excess" event! So what sort of conservative church is this?? :smile:

Oktoberfest in September? Oh yeah I was at one last weekend! It is great to mix the cultures and traditions.
