Fair Warning!!!!
OK all, I have to give you a warning about Graham (nothing about his green tights). Do not I repeat DO NOT allow him to hang out at your stomping grounds as he sullies your reputation. I went to the Scottish shop not too far from the conference he was at while here in Denver. Frank the owner, kept asking me how Graham was and how come some degenerate like me was hanging around him.
I am perplexed.

I'm sorry glen, I can't help it if I'm the better looking one
I hope you'll pass my greetings on to Frank, both he and his wife were very kind. Their shop was a real highlight in an otherwise boring part of town. Since we were mostly on foot, it was a nice walk from the hotel to their place.

Now Graham-you weren't *in* town...you were at the Tech Center. If you were in town, I'da taken you to Fado's, the Celtic Tavern, the Irish Snug, or Nallins for a beer and I still could've caught lightrail home. I try to avoid the Tech Center whenever possible...which means I haven't been to the Thistle &Shamrock since they moved down there.
Bryan...I'm only hurting myself...

Yes flyv65, the Tech Centre, couldn't think of it's name. It was a boring place to be tho', I wish the convention had been nearer to town.
two years ago it was in san Antonio, right near the riverwalk, that was beautiful, lots to see and do within walking distance.
I'm not sure why thistle and shamrock located there, guess it might be cheaper rent than town.
Do you and Glen get together for kilt nights or anything?
Now if you'd joined earlier and I'd known you, we could have gone to all those Taverns!

the Irish snug is great! but dont forget a fairly new pub in town...
Ye auld Dubliner is a small pub on broadwayon the east side of the road. one reason I like it is that its just a little farther than stumbl....er..I mean walking distance from my house! I cant rememeber exactly where it is ...I just remember that its just after the dividers(sp?) start to seperate north & south traffic.. hey Gman...fly... maybe we should meet up for a night out?
Irish diplomacy: is telling a man to go to he)) in such a way that he looks forward to the trip!

I also have been there. In 1959 while in the Air Force. Nice place to visit but living there for one year was quite enough for me.
Have a wonderful kilted summer as I plan to enjoy my kilted winter here in Oregon.
