    Jonesing

    Hell-o all,

Several ongoing threads have got me wondering:

    Which Jones is worse,

    A. Waiting for a new kilt after ordering it?

    B. Wondering what kilt to buy next and from which kiltmaker?

    C. Making a new kilt?

    Comments and discussion greatly appreciated.

    A. Waiting for a new kilt after ordering it?

Because the matter is now out of my control. I'm starting week 7 for my PK Forest MarPat so I'm a little twitchy

    I agree,
    A. Waiting for a new kilt after ordering it?

I have two kilts on order and I'm really looking forward to seeing them.

Yep! it's A. I suppose the best way would be to order loads with a few weeks gap. then there wouls always be kilts on the doorstep....Only one problem how do you explain it to the wife

    C. Making a new kilt?

I'll elaborate on that and say "waiting for the MATERIAL to arrive, then waiting for some free time (HAHAHAHAHA) to MAKE it".

I'm kind of in another category though...

    Another question posed:

Does Jonesing for a new kilt add to the experience when it arrives or does it make you look elsewhere (BEFORE you buy) for a kilt that you don't have to wait as long?

    Interesting point Rocky.
Well, you KNOW I come back to you because the jonesing is less painful with USAK.
But would I go elsewhere if I had to wait longer?
If the product was really good enough, or if I really wanted it enough, then I would wait.

    It's a question of priorities I guess.

eg. I want my house painted. The painter I want is the best, but he's also the busiest.
If I can wait, I will, but if the work is urgent and I can't wait - I'll get someone else.

    Priorities!

I must be misguided, as I have to vote B.

There is a limited budget for kilts, so the deciding what to order is far worse. Waiting is pure bliss cause I know goodies are on the way.
