SHhhhh! It's a Surprise...
...so don't tell him, but I won a SW Nightstalker for my DS. It should arrive this week, but he can't have it until Christmas.

...and when he does start enjoying it, have him call my seventeen year old and let him know what a blast it is...I can't tell him anything! Told him I was going to pick him up the same thing- SWK Night stalker- for Christmas...you'd think it was a threat!

auld just tell him my 17 yr. old has had one for almost a year now. He absolutly loves it. At first he was a bit tentative, but after he started to were it in public, he noticed all the attention he was recieving from the oppposite sex. ( He was not very poppular ) Now we can bearly get him to keep it off long enough to wash it. :-D
He wore it ( almost exclusively ) during our Caribean cruise, and I was almost enviouse of him and his flock of girls. My dear wife made a few comments about my age and straitened me out on that point. But I digress, the point is my son loves his kilt and so does his new girlfriend.

Tell him if it does wonders for the attention the opposite sex gives you, imagine what a young buck like him will encounter! :-D:-D

Aah, too bad, AA. Whiteraven's experience should be helpful. If your son ever experiences the positive responses a man gets while wearing a kilt, I'm sure you'll have a definite convert there.
If he won't let you get him a kilt, I suppose you could just put a "Real men wear kilts" bumpersticker or magnet in his stocking.

It arrived today! Right during rescheduled violin lessons (our teacher comes to us). It was very hard to contain our excitement (me, my DD, & my youngest DS), but the oldest DS was in the next room on his computer, so we couldn't make too big a fuss.
I can't tell you about fit yet, of course, but the fabric feels good, & the garment looks well made. I will hand sew down the pleats at the hip, & I will have to hem it--all in secret!
Thanks for keeping quiet about this, guys. ;-)

Sherry,
Trying to keep this under wraps, is harder to do than jonesing for a new kilt!
Certainly hope that I can keep silent (now how about that new kilt for me you can get me?)
