first opinion...
McNeill, ...(although Gunn Ancient has also that touch of classic elegance)

I love the Gunn ancient, very close to my Morrison ancient, lovely greens and blues ohhhh!:-D

Derek, both look great but I have to agree with Sir Graham, the Gunn is the one. :-D

Both are great. I like the Mcneil but the Gunn is more subtle. Depends on whether you want it to catch the eye more or less....

MacNeil. The yellow stripe sets the other colors off nicely.

Being of no relation to either - as far as I know - I think I like the Gunn Ancient better, though I like them both. There are many tartans with a yellow stripe, and I think the Gunn would be an excellent contrast to your bolder welsh tartan cilt. The one with the yellow base anyway, I'm not sure what tartan your second cilt/kilt is.
Anyway, that's my reasoning, it's a little more subdued.

Just had another thought , get both. Have one now and put the other on order for the future.
