New Kilt

I just purchased a swk in the Macleod tartan off e-bay today. It was the prototype for the 2006 model. I bought it for one of my sons. He has been wanting a kilt in the Macleod tartan for a while. I guess he has one now. I will post pictures when it arrives.

good to hear that you picked one of the protos up i was wondering if they were any different than the 2006's in production.....

According to swk the difference between the prototypes and the new 2006 line is in the buckle. The new buckle is cast. The Prototypes have the old buckles. The other difference is in the lining. The Proto's have the original style lining while the 2006 models have a deeper lining.
