It's good to wear trousers
I've just spent three days in overalls, painting my house.
Today, the first stage was completed, when I cleaned up and got back into the kilt it felt soooooo good.
How I missed the freedom of the kilt even in that time.
Trousers make one appreciate being kilted....just now and then.

I get that same feeling every time I get home from work.
Not only is the kilt physically more comfortable, but wearing it is a sign that I'm not dealing with work at the moment, and that's relaxing mentally.

After a nasty cut in the palm of my right hand end of November (comes from assembling a knife without thinking!) I spent a week in hospital wearing sweatpants because I could put them on with one hand - terrible, I tell you.
On the other hand I was glad to have worn sarong when I cut myself, I bled profusely!

Had to stop and clean my glasses after seeing this title. Whew!! Graham, glad to see it was just an attention getter, thought maybe you had been kidnapped by trouser tyrants, and were being forced to do their bidding.
I can imagine how good it felt to get a kilt back on after several days of trousers. I slipped on a pair of jeans one day just to remind myself of how I looked and felt in them. Quickly got back into the kilt after seeing what I looked like in the mirror. I couldn't believe how confining the crotch really is. Just took this for granted for years and years that it was something I had to put up with. It also made me realize how accustomed I have become to the freedom afforded by the kilt.

I can see it now. Small groups of people kidnap kilt wearers, make them put on trousers, then force them to make televised declarations about how comfortable they are.
