    beautiful kilt skirt on ebay

    Item number: 5458914427

Twenty lousy bucks for a wool kilt skirt in Gray Stewart. Crikey. If it were a kilt it'd be ten times that amount.

Maybe one of you lads has a lady that'd look good in that skirt....Sherry? Shay?

My wife would no more wear that skirt than....than...than.... words fail me.

Waist/Size: Label says Size 11/12 Petite's. Will fit waist measurements between 26-28".

Huh? I'm an 11-12 and my waist is about 34, 32 if I cinch stuff.

Yeah, Joan is about an 8 and her waist is about 28 or so. But this is a moving target, you know? Every place is different. An 8 in Coldwater Creek has nothing to do with an 8 in Ann Taylor which has nothing to do with an 8 at Hollister or even Abercrombie & Fitch....which BTW, makes buying clothes out of a catalog, for women, practically impossible. So I have no idea how women do it.

Guys? We just have XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL

If you bought it, maybe she would wear it to the coffee kiosk for you.

Nah, I bought her a fabulous kilt skirt in a "no-clan" tartan...lots of white, cream, green and tan....exactly her colors. It's gorgeous and it fits her perfectly. She looks fabulous in it. She's worn it once, to my stepmothers retirement community for lunch. Basically, she hates it...says it's "dowdy".

I figure it cost me all of ten bucks off of ebay. It's a drop dead gorgeous skirt, I'd have fits if I could have a kilt of comparable quality. I can stand up for my rights to wear what I want, but the corollary is that I can't really say much of anything about what she wears, right? So I got it for her, it's in her closet and maybe she'll get it out again someday to wear....but I won't hold my breath.
