UK television, the 51st state

For those in the UK who may be interested, The film, 'The 51st State' is showing on channel 4 tonight (7/1/06) at 22.10.

This is the film in which Samuel L. Jackson wears a kilt for most of, if not all the film. I haven't seen the film before so can't comment as to it's quality, other than that it features a kilt-wearing man of course, and that will do for me!

For those who have not seen this film, I will say that it has lots of drug reference due to the fact it is about illegal drug makers, lots of cussing, and plenty of violence. If that offends you, do not waste your time watching it.

On the other hand, if you have no problems with that kind of thing, I thought it was a pretty ok movie. I would not have paid to see it in the theater, but if it comes on tv for free, it is not bad.

There is a cute scene near the beginning aboard the airplane that deals with the "curiosity" of what's under the kilt.;-)

The movie isn't that good, which is to bad, their are good people in it. The only reason to watch it is that Sam Jackson looks awesome in a cilt.

Every year some wreckless individual tries to immitate something dangerous he sees in the movies. As a Paramedic back home, this translates into job security. But, since I like all of you, I shall worn you now. It might work for Samuel Jackson, but never, never, let your girl friend shoot her hand gun from between your legs. You will most assuredly burn your haggis.
