Kilted Karibbean Kruise

We set sail from Miami this afternoon. I plan on boarding the ship in the custom Pittsburgh kilt I had made for this trip. It's royal blue with pineapples and palm trees all over it.

This should be interesting.

That sounds great! I envy you the opportunity of warmer weather and sunshine - and not the least wearing your kilt

I am eagerly awaiting my first one from kilt.store. My colleagues have demanded that I wear it to work, so a positive response is already assured

Have a great time! Can't wait to see pics of that kilt. Right now you are probably sitting in the sun by the poolside bar drinking a Mai-Tai or Caribbean Sunset or Dacquiri or Margarita or ..hmmhhhh... errr.. sorry guys, got lost in the daydream for a mintue. It is 40 and rainy here right now!

Can you tell me how they are reacting to the kilt in the main dining room for dinner, since they always say they want men to wear long pants? Have they given you any grief about wearing the kilt?

We took one of those cruise ships out of Ft. Lauderdale to the Bahamas. About half way there we ran into a gale lasting about 30 minutes which would keep you from falling on the deck while leaning into it. That wind would have had a kilt up around my head. I guess that's why you don't see too many kilted sailors.
