My own little diet thread!
I've had enough, I am 35 pounds heavier than I was a year ago (which was 35 pounds lighter than 6 months before). As of tomorrow morning, I am going back on the Atkins diet that worked so well the last time! I figure a public announcement is probably the best way to make sure I stick to it.
I'm starting at 240 pounds. I will post up-dates to this thread as the weight hopefully melts away.

Right there with you Iolaus. I lost over 40 lbs. a couple of years ago, mostly on Atkins. I've gained a good bit back and now have started back in the other direction but I went back on Atkins a week ago to help speed the process. I was at 250 at my heaviest and 208 at my lightest. Right now I'm at 229. (I refused to weigh during this last year because I was afraid to know how much I had gained back.) Good to know someone else is doing this too. I'll keep an eye on your progress. Good luck!

best of luck with your efforts guys. I had put on a pound or twenty in the recent past but have managed to drop most of it over the last few months.
Hard work & determination & a picture of what i looked like at my heaviest posted on the refridgerator have gotten me this far and will hopefully carry thru until the summer!!!
plus dont forget muscle weighs mor ethan fat so look at the inches you loose as well as any pound losses
ITS A KILT, G** D*** IT!

Rather than lose weight I feel one needs to have a range of kilt sizes to accommodate the current weight class one dines in.
I a curently dining at 40.5inches by 24inches.
just in case, there is a Kilt Adoption Agency- "Give me your poor, your tired, your huddled kilts"
