    Saying hi

I have been lurking for a while and have enjoyed many of the threads. Thought it was time I joined in.

I have been a kilt wearer for about three years. I have a 4-yard Northumberland tartan, a 4-yard Buchanan Old Sett (weathered) and a 5-yard Fitzgerald. Totally enjoy wearing the kilt whenever I can. Hope to get another for Christmas.

Not sure what it is about the kilt, but always seems there is one more to get! Is that a common experience?

So . . . glad to be here.

Any pictures of your Northumberland kilt? I've only seen one other picture of a Northumberland tartan kilt, and it is quite striking. My Wilkinson ancestors were from Northumberland, and I've always liked that one.

    Welcome!

    Sending an image?

So, that didn't work! What do I do to send a picture? Sorry for being ignorant.

    Try this

You have to the picture on a web site, or one of the picture posting sites like fliker. Then put the link between the IMG marks like you did with the name of your picture, including the web link to the picture. Oh and you aren't really ignorant, it is just confusing. ha ha Hope this helps.

    DALE.
