I'm From Texas
Just want to say “hi” to everyone because I’m new here (but I’ve been lurking for a spell). I live in Texas.
I’ve been wearing kilts for almost two years and really enjoy it. I have a couple of ‘casual’ kilts at this point and wear them out and about quite a bit. I like going to Highland Games and such. I wear them in my band almost every show (pic attached/Armstrong tartan). I can attest to the fact: Girls dig ‘em.
I’m not all Scot but, according to my dad, we trace lineage on his side to the Clan MacDonald of Clanranald. I can’t say for sure but someday I’ll have the time to really check it out.
I’m sure I have committed many kilt faux pau’s but the joy for me is in the comfort. I enjoy reading the board and am blown away by the depth of knowledge here. I’m gonna learn a lot.
Thanks to you all.
