May I introduce my son, D'Argo, kilted.
His kilt arrived from Kiltmart today (incredibly fast shipping) and we went to Prestor John's house for some pix with his sons.
Here's D'Argo.

And here is The Piper, the Kilted Mohawk warrior, and D'Argo.

Congratulations! The boys all look like they are comfortable and enjoy the kilt. You might want to check the right hand straps on D'Argo's, it looks like the outer apron is not fastened well and is drooping down.
The kilt concealed a blaster strapped to his thigh. Lazarus Long

Where are the mohawks?
I thought Prestor John's boys had Mohawks? Anakin is worried about getting a Mohawk and will wait till I get home, so we can do it together. I was using Prestor Johns boys as a "see, other children are doing it" kinda thing.

It is my understanding that prior to going to the Highland Games this weekend, the mohawk will be restored.
He can't wear it during the school year, which just ended this week.
