Spectacular New Breton Kilt Pin
I recently ordered a kilt from France in the Breton National tartan - it's not due until early August - and with it I requested the Breton kilt pin.
The Pin was delivered to me this morning - the kilt will come direct from the actual kiltmaker - and what a splendid pin it is.
Here is a photo I took within minutes of opening the package. The tartan is the 'Randonnée Bretonne' (The Brittany Walking tartan), a large sample of which was enclosed with the pin. It is gorgeous and I shall be ordering a kilt in it within hours!! The Breton National tartan is mainly blue, white, black and green, and is shown on the supplier's card.

That is one awesome and classy looking pin you have there Ham, simply beautiful. But then again I wouldn't expect anything less from you.

Thank you Robin - I was trying to find the Breton flag to show the origin of the pin's design, but you beat me to it. Well done!
The pin is so much nicer in reality than the photo indicates.

Ham,
Now I'm really worried about you. Your poor house is going to explode around you with all the kilts and accessories that you have tucked away in there.
Tell you what....I'll send you a PM with my address and you can just send all your extras over here. Not sure where I'll put it but I'd sleep better at night knowing that you are not in danger of an overloaded house. You can send the Breton kilt pin of course. I'll promise to make sure it's comfortable here.

Regarding the tartan, I prefer the "walking" version more than the "national" one. The colour combination on the tartan is simply perfect!.
Once and again, congrats Ham!

Ham,
Great pin!
I love that tartan too. It's a great combination of colors.
