Gratuitous kilt picture

When the goin' gets hot, the hot get goin'! Saturday was near-record hot in California's Central Valley, but yours truly hit the road early for a three-hour bike ride before the extreme temperatures hit. The list of riding "essentials" includes: water, bike repair items, spandex, kilt, and camera.

Along one main thoroughfare were a half-dozen of those perennial favorites - the fundraising car washes. Little League, cheerleader squads, clubs and causes of all kinds... and a motorcycle repair shop bikini car wash.

Now, my bike doesn't take kindly to washing and I shy away from being photographed in cycling shorts, but this opportunity was too good to pass up. So on goes the camo kilt for the photo op. (Besides, how could I post a non-kilt pic to this forum??)

The point of this post is to always carry a camera... (I think that's the point... uhhm...)

Lovely ladies you found while riding. While at the Renn Faire this weekend, there were 2 young ladies as lovely as these 2, but dressed as belly dancers. If you rememeber the chain mail bikini top from another thread, make it somewhat smaller, then a matching mail bikini bottom, with flowing silk strips of cloth from the waist to mail ankle bracelets to provide some (very little) modesty! Unfortunately, by the time my wife arrived with the camera, they had moved on. Very sad for me.
