Great pics Ron! The Ireland's National tartan has got to be one of my favourites.

Truly some great photos. How was the heat to wool factor? I suffered some in this heat this winter.

The heat wasn't bad. Was only around 100 degrees with humidity around 20%

Las Vegas strip is a tricky place to dress since its hot outside and iced down inside.

The USA Kilt casuals were very cool. The USA Kilt Semi-Traditionals were warmer but I never felt hot.

The wool kilts weren't hot, even the 16 oz, but they were warm.

I noticed the heat more in my legs, from the wool kilt hose, than anywhere, but even that wasn't bad.

We never were out in the heat that much. When we'd start to feel hot while walking we'd just duck in the nearest casino to cool off a bit, then move on.

Much of the walking was indoors. The casino's are huge. Like to get to Nine Fine Irishmen for chow we'd have to walk across the Excalibur where we were staying, go outside over the pedestrian ramp, then walk through New York, New York to get to the restaurant. Maybe walking a half mile with most of it indoors and cool.

By the way, here's the website for Nine Fine Irishmen

    http://www.ninefineirishmen.com/

Tops on my list for a gathering spot if we do make Las Vegas next Spring for an X Marks rendezvous.
