    Opinions on Belt Design

I posted this under another thread but thought I might get more response in this section.

I'm looking for some feed back on what the preference would be on a belt embossed with a pattern would be.

I'm evaluating 2 patterns right now. Which do you prefer?

    Hounds
Imagine the trinity knot placed between the hounds rears.

    Knot

This is for a 2" or 2-1/2" belt.

Would there be a demand for a wider belt? 3"?

Not embossed...maybe just 2 lines....I like plain belts best.

2.25" ("standard" kilt belt width?) is wide enough for me, but I'm not a big bloke...I can imagine guys with a bit more...uhm...err..."volume" prefer a 3 or more.

I'm with robin on this. After looking for a great brown belt, I found that simple was best.

I also prefer a plain 2.25-inch kilt belt.

I'm rather partial to zoomorphic designs. For that sort of thing, a 2.5" belt is the minimum -- if you're really big, a 3" belt would look balanced.
Why not a pair of hounds in mirror symmetry interlaced with a trinity knot?

Can you elaborate a little more about what you mean by inter-laced? To me it means the hounds would actually be within the trinty knot. This is actually something I've been contemplating releasing in the near future.

    I have a 2.5 inch, but wouldn't mind trying a 3" belt...I also prefer plain.
