Are Not Trousers Just Two "Skirts" Connected?
I mean look at trousers. The cloth surrounds each leg like a skirt...just like a kilt surrounds our waist.
Trouser legs vary in length for purpose and fashion, just like skirts.
Maybe we kilted guys should start calling trousered guys "Two Skirts."
Maybe when someone teases or insults us calling our kilts a skirt we could point out that they are wearing two skirts, one on each leg.
Maybe we could just happily point out that our one skirt kilt is much more comfortable than their two skirt arrangement.
Maybe we can get drunk and tap some trousered guy on the shoulder and say, "Why are you wearing skirts around your legs?"

Interesting thought.
That must mean the opposite is true of Bermuda Shorts. The cloth surrounds each leg like a kilt, just like a kilt surrounds our waist.

That's certainly a novel way of looking at it!

Might have been a fair try at a string, but, this one took a turn into a death spiral !!
"Loose tights" A good oxymoron!
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

This thread went awry!
I don't think you would get anywhere with the original point, in fact you might even inflame things by insulting these idiots masculinity, of course that could be the point....

Aye,
Wasn't thinking about jocks and bras...just had the thought that, hey, do not pant legs encircle one leg just as a kilt encircles two legs? So its either "one skirt" with a kilt or "two skirts" with pants.
So...those dufus' that mock our kilts as skirts are, in fact, wearing two skirts themselves. But you're right, not sure the logic holds or that the dufus' could follow it.

Leave them to rot in their own ignorance and stupidity. But you should try it once as you say I doubt they could follow the logic.
