    I'm turning into Riverkilt

I got a new credit card the other day, so what naturally is the first thing I think to charge on it?

Thats right, I now have a SWK Irish National Standard and a Nightstalker Sporran on the way. I completed the order around 0630 this morning, but 0800 I had confirmation it was in the shipping box and on the way to my address.

You better get to ordering some hand-sewn Stomes if you're gonna catch up to Ron. You'll love that sporran, I use mine every time I kilt up.

You'll be fine until the plastic starts to smoulder...then its time to back off for a while.

Of course this is the time of year the banks all up our limits so we can go deeper into debt holiday shopping. Might as well be kilts!

I paid my evil bank down to almost nothing...they in turn upped my limit to an ungodly figure....thank you but no thank you....okay thank you for the RAF material that's gonna be hand sewn by Kathy Lare....that's okay....

And, that Arizona state tartan sure looks good....and the 1248 white, black, and red Dunbar tartan in honor of my 5 great grandmother Mehitable Dunbar and her clan.....and what else....hmmmm....

Credit cards are evil Evil EVIL little pieces of plastic.

We finally got all of our various cards paid off this past spring. Karen and I each kept one card apiece, the rest were cut up and the accounts cancelled. That said, I don't want to tell you what the limit is on my one remaining card, which is totally paid off at the moment. Lets just say I could easily overtake both you AND Hamish combined in the kilt collecting department.

Btw...I've never been able to get my card to smolder, although I have managed to wear the numbers off more than once.

Credit cards out here in the countryside are rare and insane!! I got one in May and promptly did a lot of clothes shopping only to find that the cards here have 100% monthly repayments and got a bill for $1300!!!!! Madness.

The good thing though is that because this is rural Japan I managed to bully my bank into letting me pay the balance up!!!! Try that in the west!

So buying a kilt would require me to save up first, the opposite of how I thought credit cards worked!
