ALready have blackwatch, loch ness, uasf, black stewart, stewart, macdonald, mackenzie, gordon, clark, pride of scotland...and...and...Grrrrr....I forget....anyhoo I have a few choices but am looking for something new....suggestions....

Instead of tartan, have you thought about getting a tweed kilt?

    What's "UASF?"
Ireland's National or the Scottish National are great tartans.
A bit biased, but the Henderson tartans are great as well. Sportkilt offers the ancient colour scheme.

Speaking * totally objectively * of course, the Henderson tartan is without a doubt the most amazingly beautiful tartan yet concieved!

The problem with it, is getting a hold of it and having a kilt made all within the span of a month. And as far as I know, it's only woven in Scotland.

Considering your place of residence, I'd get the New York City tartan. Not only would it have personal meaning for you, but it's a gorgeous tartan as well...!

Yes indeed Blu. To get a wool tartan kilt in it within a month would be quite ambitious. But, if one wanted a "quick fix" and was willing to settle with Sportkilt (I don't personally have any of their kilts, so I can't comment on quality etc.) they could get this.

I second the vote for the NYC tartan. I'd get one in an instant if I lived there. O'Neille
