Sign up at photo bucket at http://s136.photobucket.com/ then search you folder where you keep your pictures. To paste click on the paste picture icon (little yellow box w/ pictures of mountain and sun) the click on the img box beside the picture in photobucket and past that on the popup you got clicking the above icon. I find it helps to have two internet pages open when doing this.

Okay New Try
Well, don't laugh, my son tried about 8 attempts to get this picture done. (9 year old) So I'm not smiling, I'll get a better one later.

Okay Okay, laugh now. I promise to atleast look happy the next time.

No, no, no, that's just going to cause more confusion. If you want to use the Insert Image button, then you do NOT click on the Photobucket img box, as that is going to insert the [IMG][/IMG] tags twice, which will result in an invalid URL and no displayed image. I appreciate that you are trying to help, but the above explanation simply won't work.
There is a very simple way to insert an image into a post, if you are using Photobucket.
Photobucket provides the URL of the stored image, already wrapped in the [IMG][/IMG]tags. There are three options under each stored image - URL Link, HTML Tag and IMG Code.
Click on the IMG Code which will copy that code and then simply paste (Ctrl-V) that code into the text entry window, here on the forum.
If anyone is having issues when trying to insert images into posts, there is a brief tutorial, located HERE
If you are still having problems, please post your questions in the Tech Questions forum and we will try to help you get everything sorted.

It works for me! OK I do have to delete extra [img] thingys but I'm willing to make the effort for the rabble. Okay Mike1 how do we make things go clickedypop? I tried following Dreads instructions but it just made my hair curl.

And why take the extra step (that you neglected to mention, BTW) when it is unnecessary?
