    The Queen

The wife and I went to see the movie today, it's worth seeing. there's a few kilted men in it and some love scenes of Scotland (around Balmoral).

For me the most moving scene was an encounter between Her Majesty and a huge Stag...'nuff said, see the movie!

How fortunate you are to see the latest films where you live without needing to travel.
It will be a year or so before it reaches our small local cinema, by which time it will probably have been released on DVD

It is due out on DVD in about ten days time, Alex!

'The Queen' came to Worthing (!) for two days three weeks ago and I was lucky enough to catch 'her' one afternoon (the evenings were completely sold out). It is very well worth watching and I agree with Graham, that scene is wonderful. Watch out also for a priceless comment from 'HM The Queen Mother' when she and 'HM The Queen' are talking about Tony Blair! I shall be getting the DVD from Tesco - they're usually pounds cheaper there!

I fully agree with what Ham and Graham have said. This movie is well worth seeing.

Ham, I"ve practically been drooling for weeks waiting for it to come out on DVD; amazon.com still doesn't have a date. I guess I should have been checking amazon.co.uk. I wonder if they have the North American format yet?

No doubt Ann will want me to buy the DVD for her as soon as it is issued and I will watch it with her.

Hmmmn. I am not sure about a national launch date for the DVD, but it was emblazonned across the front of a newsletter I received from a Mail Order company a few days ago. "Available the first week in March" is what it stated.

Amazon.co.uk is listing it (£4.00 cheaper than my mail order company! Can Tesco beat that, I wonder?) with a release date of March 12th -
