While we're making confessions, I bought a suit. Yes a suit, with pants, I'll explain. I now own the agency and I have hired two new producers. I have outlawed jeans, even for casual Friday, and instructed all sales people to be in no less than coat & tie. So I was forced to follow suit (pun intended).
Wow, I feel better already, but I'm in my McDonald of the Isles hunting today so I should!
David
Happy St David's Day to all of you.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you work running high end hunts. I can see nice p@nts and a jacket (though nothing wrong with a kilt), but isn't a suit a little overboard? ![Smile](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Wow, David, what a huge, huge step in your professional life! Congratulations.
So, now you are the employer - and maker, enforcer, and examplar of the dress code rules. Is there a fundamental shift in thinking from the other side of the table? Is the rule an unequivocal trousers, coat & tie, or does it also contemplate kilt, coat & tie? But, perhaps it is too soon to dally with such trivialities when more pressing matters demand attention. Your team-building comes first, no doubt.
Again, good fortune to you.

Sorry guys, this was meant to be a bit of humor. The office I work in is actually very open to my kilts. The owner of the company has actually (jokingly) said we shouldn't hire anyone else who is not man enough to wear a kilt.
Probably the main reason I choose not to wear a kilt more frequently to work is my lack of accessories (socks, mainly and I need a few more kilts to mix it up more). I've really only got 2 that are office worthy the others are for hiking (PK MarPat) and lounging (SK Navy Stewart velcro and elastic (We all started somewhere )).
If I can't be dressed correctly in a kilt I prefer not to wear it half way.
