    Jonesing a bit

I ordered a World War I (replica) kilt apron and a leather jerkin from https://onlinemilitaria.net/shopcontent.asp?type=home

Really looking forward to get and use them

That's pretty interesting. I'm sure there will be pictures to come?

Robin jonesing? You seem such a cool and collected fellow.

That is a nice-looking vest. I've considered it before myself. And that kilt apron will be just the thing for protecting your kilt when doing your Kraftwerk.

We must both be on a vest wavelength. I just bought a navy blue wool vest from a sutler at a civil war re-enactment this past weekend. It's a repro of a Union army vest, complete with brass buttons and mandarin-style collar.

The kilt apron I ordered is the "full wrap-around" UK khaki cotton 1914 version

    like this...

Will keep my kilts clean when working

I'll use the leather jerkin as a wind breaker jacket and I think it will just look great on a kilt.

Both were on my wish list for a long time now.

Robin, I love that pic of the 6th GH. Do you have a higher res version, or a web url where I can get it?

    thanks.

And Ron, here's another example you can show your CEO of people kilted at work.

Those look like the tops of some leather or canvas Puttees/spats. Or very high boot tops. Todd will know if no one else does.
