    Have Kilt Will Travel

    Hell-o all,

Many here are known to be world travelers. I just want to know which one of your Kilts has the most mileage behind it?

Mine would probably be my Maple Leaf with about 6,000 miles under its apron.

It's my UK mocker, if you have to be wearing it to qualify for the mileage. It's been r/t Atlanta to San Francisco (5000 miles +/_), r/t ATL to NW Illinois by car, (1700), and about 3000 in fly/drive business travel. Add on a trip next weekend to Sarasota FL for another 1400 or so. UK is ver comfy for travel.

Aye yai yai...no fair! I mix mine up when I travel. If I had to guess though would probably be my Utilikilts blue denim kilt - a common, comfy, driving kilt in the summer.

I would say my black leather kilt. Been to Hawaii and back, to Philly, Detroit, England and Holland, A couple of motorbike rides..To all the highland games throughout Ontario for the past few years. I'd say easy 50,000km and still working well

I'd have to say that my Carolina District and Ireland's National each have about 10,000 miles on them.

Mine is probably my UK survival. I had it shipped to me in Iraq, although I didn't get many opportunities to wear it there. It came back in my carry on though, and got worn as much as the weather permitted when I returned stateside.

Both of the kilts I have at the moment, Ancient and Modern Macdonald of the isles, have been worn between Scotland and Oregon flights.
My Ancient was worn on a lovely journey from Glasgow to Amsterdam to Minneapolis to Portland Oregon. (And then got to drive to Eugene.)

Hmmm... hard to say... We travelled a good part of Western Europe. I alternated between my Bear Kilt in Hunting Stewart, black UK Mocker, and tan UK Original. I think the UK original got the most wear, but not by much.

Sherri and I travelled from California to Florida and back. I wore my khaki UK Workman's most of the time. We visited West Palm Beach, the Everglades, and the Kennedy Space Center.

I'd have to guess that my most-travelled kilts each have at least 10,000 miles on them.
