Prayer request...
Anyone who cares to, please say a prayer for me.
I've just gone through a very emotional and difficult break-up with my fiancee' of 7 months (girlfriends of 1.5 years).
Thank you.

Will send up some smoke for you Yeti,
Probably doesn't help much now, but a friend of mine used to whisper in my ear, "Rejection is God's protection."
When I divorced after 20 years of marriage it was a horrible time, couldn't stop crying and weeping.
Now, nearly 20 years since the divorce I look back on the divorce as one of the most spiritual gifts of my life.
Hopefully, this now sad experience will turn out to be a gift for you.

Thinking of you Yeti. Remember there is a Scots saying "What's for you will no' go by you".

I feel you, I went through almost the same thing two months ago. Its rough, and its going to hurt for quite some time, believe me. Like those with much more life experience above of me have said, its for the best in the long run. It sure wont feel like it now, but God has a plan for all of us. I will say a prayer for you.

It IS a rough stretch to get through... but better now than later!

I went through the exact same thing you are now going through a couple years back. I was dating her for 4 years, engaged for one, she up & left 2 months before the wedding, never to be seen again. It took me a year to get over her, but, time heals all wounds. It sucks now, I know, but, in the long run, you'll move on. Best of luck to you, & keep your chin up.

You're in my thoughts, Yeti. I've been through a few of those myself, it's never fun.

I can not say anything to ease the pain. Know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
