At the Memphis zoo.

The DEKS went to the Memphis zoo today. It was warm but not too hot here. Pleasant compared to what it could have been for our part of the world at this time of year. The picture was shot in front of the totem poles at the entrance to the Northwest Passage exhibit that includes Sea Lions, Polar bears, bald eagles, ravens & American Black Bears. Panache as Zoo Keeper...

"A here on my left you can see a rare group of kilties. These kilties travel togther in groups called "rabbles". The rabble hunts together for wild haggi and beer which compose the bulk of their diet. Notice how all the male kilties gather round the female showing off their bright tartan plummage..."

Sounds like a fun time.
