    Time flies

Apart from our computer really playing up these days which makes it sometimes impossible to log on, its been all go.
We have'nt long been back from working at a four day folk festival in the middle of Oxfordshire. We help selling the CD's of the artistes who perform. Its hard work but well payed and you get lots of time to do your own thing as well. Two great pubs in the village just down the road too. We do it every year with our friends Gordon and Geraldine.
Here's our accomodation .. we camp backstage in Gordons awning .. luckily all our food is free in the crew marquee backstage so we don't have to bother with cooking.

Just before the village and the pubs is the Oxfordshire Canal

The max amount of people the field can hold is 20,000 and its always a sell out. There's always thousands more in the village just listening .. you can hear it from afar.

The next day Elaine and myself had most of the day to ourselves .. we went for a long walk and Sunday Lunch ..

Then we did a bit of shopping and met les in one of the local garden centres

Then the three of us went to some other friends, whose daughter has just given birth to a baby girl. We all went around to celebrate. My mother came along with us all and insisted I took me sporran off so I would not hurt the baby when it was my turn to hold her

    A few of the men

And a few of the ladies

And last but not least ... Jack .. whose a complete nutter but a real loveable character ..

    Thats it for now ...

Great series of pics Derek and a VERY sneaky one of me showing my bald spot but not my Anderson Modern kilt!

Not been to Bath for ages - must have a ride there soon!

Good pictures Derek and looks like you and Elaine had an enjoyable time.
Though the title suggested that maybe your muckle clock had sprouted wings

Liked the pictures of Bath which you added, Derek. I've passed through Bath by train a few times but never got off there and it ceratinly looks an interesting place to explore.
