    Smile Kilted to Ozzfest

I went to Ozzfest at the Post-Gazette Pavilion this past Friday. It is outside Pittsburgh, Pa. I wore my black canvas kilt with cargo pockets I made. I only saw one other guy in a kilt. He bought his off e-bay. I got a few compliments. The biggest kick was seeing Zakk Wylde on stage in what I am pretty sure was a Utilikilt. He has a UK patch on the back of his leather vest, the kilt had big cargo pockets, jeans type pockets, I think a narrow apron with snaps, and a big embroidered symbol on the back pocket. So I'm leaning towards a Utilikilt. If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me. He really is amazing, his skill with a guitar is just astounding. Ozzy is definitely getting older. He put on a good show but started out kinda rough.

If Utilikilts are good enough for Zakk the would be fine for me. I really want one now, if I weren't so damn broke I'd be ordering one tomorrow.

Zakk is an interesting cat. I saw Ozzy in the Cow Palace in SF in 1992. One of the things that stood out was Zakk Wylde talking about how cool it is we can elect our leaders and what a good candidate H. Ross Perot was.

I didn't wear kilts then. Unfortunate because I was living in the Bay Area and single.

Its worth it to save up. Get you some sort of container and every day when you get home toss in the loose change you have. In about six months you'll have enough for a UK Black Workman's.

And don't forget the scratch and dent rack at Utilikilts.

That's what I do. I almost have enough to order my next kilt.

In the Graspop, a metal festival in Belgium where Ozzy played as well, I saw a lot of people in kilts there!

And was also there where I got my first one
