Kilt Night in Seattle?
Hey, I'm flying out later this morning to Seattle for a 12-day visit with my sister in Puyallup.
I was just wondering if there's a kilt night in the Seattle area between now & Labor Day?
The Wizard of BC is graciously getting a kilt night together on the 5th in Victoria when I'm visiting there.
I know there's a bunch of kilties in the Emerald City, though, & it'd be great to meet you guys.
I'll check back in tonight to see if there's been any responses.
Thanks!

I live in the Seattle area. I'd love a kilt night in Seattle
If someone puts one together, I'll bring my digital camera and post the pics.

I'd be interested! Just gotta get the scheduling to work out.
I'm directing a show at a local festival called Bumbershoot. Shows are Saturday from 3:00-4:00 and Monday from 6:00 -7:00. I can meet after one of those...
If you were planning on stopping by the Utilikilt Headquarters, there's a great pub just a block north of there - Fado.
If you're doing the touristy thing, then I recommend Pike Place Brewery. Their scottish ale is fantastic!
Any other seattle kilties? Morrison? Efer? Kilted in Seattle? Kilted John?

Oh, I'm doing the touristy thing big time!
Yesterday went to Mt Rainier (pics forthcoming), today Mt St Helens, tomorrow the Olympic Peninsula, Friday the Experience Music Project/Science Fiction Museum/Space Needle, Saturday the See Seattle Walking Tour...
As a matter of fact, I was planning on paying homage at the Utilikilt Headquarters after the walking tour. How about meeting at Fado at, say, 6pm? (I think that's when UK Hq closes.) If it's a pub, then it has food, right? And of course, after walking around Seattle all day, I'll need some liquid refreshment!
All the best on your Bumpershoot shows - break a leg!

Fado on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. Sounds good!
Hopefully some other local kilties can answer up as well...

Yeah, that should work. Was originally planning on going to Whidbey to visit the Tartan Thistle on Saturday, but I think I'm going to reschedule for Friday.

Just make sure you're a kilted photographer... :-)
Anyway, you're both on my X Marks buddy list as well as on my MSN Messenger contact list.

Though I have a party to attend, I'm going to try and make it anyway. I don't think anyone will complain if I leave a bit early
