    fully pleated kilt

Check it out. Made in the Shetland islands it appears to be more a fully pleated skirt than a kilt.

The article says that the kilt is made from undyed wool.

I really must organise a trip up North to see the red sheep.

That's a weird looking kilt, more of a skirt I would say. Mind you they are not noted for wearing kilts in Shetland.

Ah yes the hunt for the Shetland red sheep that should be interesting, it does look like a skirt though not a kilt, and sounds to me like a marketing ploy more than anything else.

It isn't the kilt the article talks about. The picture is a photoshopped version of the picture for these geniuses: http://www.mwart.com/xq/ASP.productl...ttish-kilt.htm

I want the belt, but I really couldn't bring myself to buy anything from folks that try to sell bassackwards kilts.

Secondly, they're charging $100 for that! WOW. My sympathies to anyone who buys that monstrosity.

If you want the belt, you can easily find one. That's a medieval style ring belt. Tons are made for reenactors, ren faires, etc. You can easily find one on ebay for $25.
