There is such thing as former kilt wearer?

Have use a kilt first time 2 months ago and got 4 of them in meanwhile, sometimes I wonder: There are people that used kilt for a while and by its own will gave up?

I have found some people interested in kilt and I always advice them be carefull with the kilt "once you get one you will not want to wear p*nts anymore!". But, is it always the case ?

There actually was a guy here (can't remember the name off hand, but I think he was from St. Louis), who finally gave into the pressure from his wife and sold his kilts.

Dana is his name and feeling that over 25 years of marriage was far better to preserve than Kilt wearing. I do miss his posts.

I wear the kilt when the occasion arises.There are occasions though that frankly,the kilt is nothing but a b***** trial of endurance!You may have noticed that I live in the Highlands of Scotland,I spend much of my time actually ON them,fishing,shooting grouse,deer stalking etc. and believe me a kilt is rarely an asset when the midges,ticks,wind,rain,rocks,snow,sharp bits of heather and so on get going.If a lady is folowing you up "the hill" and over the moor you can rest assured that "the question" will be answered ,all by itself,in a very short time!

So yes, I confess trousers(plus 4's actually)are worn by me a lot.
