Oh wow. I think I'll actually be camping with some fredericksburgers that weekend. But maybe I can convince them to delay it...

Oooo. Sounds fun but we're to have a house full of quests for the extended weekend and many many plans in the offing so we'll have to pass I'm afraid.
Have fun!

Man Ern, why do these things go on when I'm not around? I really don't think I could do it. If plans had gone correctly and we lived down there I would. But it's too late and too far. How about lunch Friday?

Hey, it was good meeting people in person and hearing the music. I kinda wish they'd worked in more traditional sets, because I think it shows their talent more clearly, but it was definately a good show!
If there's another kilt night let me know. I'll try and drag out my old roommate and his Royal Stewart (or Stuart). And this time I'll know what you all look like, so I can say hey before the band's getting tuned up.

I totally agree with this. While the Band was good without question it was the more traditional tunes that they played which were the highlight of the show for me. And the gentlemen on the fiddle was amazing!
All together a great time; thanks to Mael for putting this together. i look forward to more kilt nights and kilted activities in the future with you gentlemen.
