I finished up my last three merit badges and my scoutmaster and I have made an appointment to hold my Eagle Scout Scoutmaster's Conference!

And only two weeks before my eighteenth birthday!

(yes, I know, I should have gotten it done sooner, etc. mea culpa)

    WOO HOO!

Now I just need to arrange the board of review and not fail it!

    Congratulations!

My own son is just starting out on that long path. He is a Tiger Cub this year.

Well now when your son asks you "What rank did you get in Scouts?" you'll be able to give a good answer.

That was the prod that I needed when I went for mine. But then I got to be a merit badge glutton, and ended up with three silver palms.

    Good on ya!

    Good on ya!

Now if you go in the Marines you'll make PFC (E-2) automatically.

Congratulations, from a fellow Eagle. Recieving mine is one of my special memories in my life and I know it will be one of yours. Job well done!

Congratulations. I was in the same boat. I finished up my Eagle Project about 2 months before my 18th Birthday and had my board of review a few weeks before my birthday. I know I definately would have regreted not getting my Eagle Scout, if I hadn't. Once you get it, be sure to put it on college and job applications. You would be amazed how many eagle scouts and just former scouts are out there and how much weight that it carries.
