    Starting my first solid color

    So today i started my first solid color, its going to have a 1 inch reveal, later on ill post some picks, this bastard is eating up materail like hell, see ya guys

    With a skinny guy like you, it shouldn't be that much fabric? How deep are your pleats?

    so heres the pic of the mock up pleats



    it measures 98 cm fully pleated, unpleated it measures 3 meters, i havent cunted the pleats yet but there a lot

    ok so after a full day of pleating i finished half of the pleating
    so heres an update



    heres a closeup of the pleats, by the way the fabric isnt solid color its checkerd



    im ironing and using basting stitches and pins to hold the pleats in

    interesting colour! What is the fabric?
    Also, is the red thread just the basting stitches? Or are you using red to stitch down the pleats? If so, does the red show much?

    yep the thread is just for basting, have no idea what type of fabric it is when i bought it was stiff as hell, but since its first wash it feels like the type of fabric that khaki shorts are made of, i guess its some kind of cotton

    p.s. there's a slight typo. you might wanna fix it to say you haven't "counted the pleats"
