    Back in Iraq

    Hello Rabble;

    I may have mentioned before that I was back in Iraq, but now I have photos to prove it. Chase and I are back to working together and because I failed to bring my camera battery charger with me, Chase has been taking all the photos. This is a photo of me in Amman Jordan getting ready to board the Military C130 to fly into Baghdad.

    There was a nice dnner tonight at the camp, and i went Kilted. Chase took some photos and I am sure they will be ready to post tonight or tomorrow.

    Look after yourselves in Iraq.
    I am sure you and Chase will continue to be good ambassadors for the kilt.

    Take care over there, and thank you.
    I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

    There are alot of things that bond men while in the theater of war...The benefit of having Jay back is we share so much other common ground...We're both in Iraq working the same contract, we're both Paramedics, and we're both kilted brothers...I couldn't ask for a better friend and I know Jay has my six as I will watch his.

    Welcome back bro...Glad to have you here again.

    Modern technology is amazing. I remember my first time in combat, we had to go through all kinds of crap to get a call through, and then it went through those hard working volunteer ham radio operators. You and your loved ones always numbered each letter of the mail, as they would arrive weeks, months late and way out of order.

    And now you go back to the hooch, and log on.................. amazing.

    Keep your head down!

    Wait until you hear about the food we get. A chow hall that looks like a steak house buffet.

    Gone are the days of SOS, being scooped out of a tin can.

    Yes, these are the good ole days.
