A dream I had last night

Ok, so yesterday I just turned in my application to be an RA at my college. Tomorrow I have to go in for an interview, but last night I had a really crazy dream.

(Begin dream sequence)
So I go in for my interview, but one of the guys stops be and holds up a photo. It's a photo of a guy wearing a kilt, sitting down, so that you can see "whats underneath". He stops me and says, "You're not going to be an RA because of this," implying that it was me in the photo. "This kind of indecency has no place at Beloit!" At first I try to apologize, but then I look at the photo and realize that it couldn't be me! Although the face was somewhat hidden, I explain why that is not me in the photo. "Hey, I don't have a kilt in that tartan! That is Black Watch, and I wear a Gordon. ALSO, I am a gentleman and know how to sit as such." I then walk past him and into the interview room.
(End dream sequence)

Yeah, I chuckled when I woke up.

As far as that dream... hmmmm... sounds like you're going to be fighting the ethnic corner

Hopefully you'll do better than my RA. He and a… friend of his made quite a bit of noise the other night, preventing me from getting a good night's sleep. Had to turn on my bagpipe albums to drown out the noise.

Kind of like a head boy or girl for a college dorm.

My wife was one for 3 of the 4 years she was at college and it was a tough job.
Imagine basically having say, 2 girls and 2 guys being in charge of 44 girls and guys most of whom are 18 year old college kids desperately looking for every way possible to get into trouble without actually getting in trouble for it.

As an adult, I rarely remember my dreams, except for the nightmares. So far, none have featured me in kilt or with pipes.

I have vivid dreams that regularly wake me up and I remember. I recall how surprised I was the first time I dreamt of myself in a kilt. I thought to myself: well, it's official - part of who I am now!
