The Bob and Doug album
Probably a lot of you actually have a copy of it...and on vinyl, I'd bet...
...but I FINALLY got to listen to my recently obtained copy of the Bob and Doug MacKenzie Great White North LP...yes, I do have a functional turntable and it is on vinyl.
And it's as good as I remember it being from back when it was first released.
I see that it's available on CD and that Strange Brew is out on DVD...maybe I should upgrade from my VHS copy.
Take off! Let's play "the beer hunter", eh?
Best

Yes, I do have an original issue on vinyl. You just can't beat Geddy Lee playing "Take Off". Here's a bit of trivia for you.....Geddy Lee's real first name was Gary but his immigrant grandmother couldn't say it, so he became "Geddy".

Ah, good! Another Rush fan! Saw them last summer here at Red Rocks, best concert I've ever seen (and seeing Neil Peart's motorcycle up close was really cool. I ever got to watch sound check...I was working at Red Rocks last summer, which definitely had its benefits!)

Red Green Show
Another classic of Canadian comedy is the Red Green Show. Strangely enough the day this tread started a friend and I were talking about R -G at work.

As someone said about I love Bob & Dougs 12 days of Christmas "....and a beer."

That's great! Congrats on a good find! I bought a copy of Strange Brew on VHS awhile back because my poor deprived wife had never seen it, even though she had heard parts from that album and (sort of) knew who the MacKenzie brothers were.

I also have the album original release vinyl I remember what a huge deal the MacKenzie brothers were to those of us loyal to SCTV, I may have to dig it up and give it a listen.
