I just saw that before I popped back here. I had the same reaction the first time I saw a trailer for that new caveman (yes I will use that term) movie. Some one, somewhere, please make a historical movie that is accurate....please.

Great list although I don't think you can call 2001 historically inaccurate since it wasn't actually history when it was made. Maybe precognitively incorrect but then, so was 1984. It does seem that Mel had his hand in more than his share of these movies and in case anyone is considering seeing 10000 BC, I would strongly advise against it. That was the most horrible movie I have seen in a long time and it saddens me that it took 109 minutes of my life that I will never get back.

I have to agree with this. The film wasn't historical when it was made, it was predictive.
Fans of Star Trek will realize that the Eugenics Wars were supposed to happen in the 90's, but I haven't seen any supermen running around. Although, I read a couple of Star Trek books that submitted that the wars did happen, just behind the scenes with secret laboratories and such.
