    Wife's Passing

I don’t want to sound maudlin, but I hope this posting is somewhat cathartic. After 35 years of marriage my wife Doris passed away last Saturday. She spent 34 years of that time confined to a wheelchair in more pain than one human should have to endure due to acute rheumatoid arthritis. Being Dutch she had a greater understanding of wooden shoes than tartan. But over the years I converted her to loving the kilt and all things Scottish. I will miss her greatly! Thanks for indulging me.
