    Question Casual and Boots

What type of boots do you wear when going casual? I have a pair of 5.11 ATAC zippered boots that I am contemplating wearing when I get my kilts. I don't know if the zippers will make them look dorky or not.

I wear that type of boot with my kilts. I also wear sneakers, sandals, and knee-length moccasins. I think they all look good when casual .

I'm a Doc Marten guy. I like New Rocks, but many of them have zippers, which I dislike. Besides, NRs are EXSPENSIVE! Traditional military boots work too.
My newest Docs are the 1460 Triumphs in brown.

I have some black hiking boots for casual. They're part swade leather and part... woven nylon I guess.

I wear the Wal Mart Special black work boots. I was accused of looking goth earlier today because of it... or maybe the black Amerikilt... or black t shirt with silver Celtic cross... or a combination of all those... Either way, I think those boots look killer. I want a pair- but as I told my clan chief, I have kids, so I have to stick with the Wal Mart special for casual wear. He called them combat boots, so I had to set him right.

Impressive! Those have nice lines, yet they're aggressive and rugged.

No need to apologize. I think that's a great reason to wear them.

    Regards,
    Rex.

Here is their website in case you want to delve further into what they have to offer. http://www.whitesoutdoor.com/

Unfortunately mine don't look that nice anymore, too much firewalking and running over scorched earth (coupled with life on the farm).

I am VERY impressed by those boots. They have a traditional look to them that simply blows my mind ! Thank you for the link.
