Second Opionion

I saw a guy today for a second opinion. Nothing weird about that right? Well it turns out that the guy that saw him first wears a kilt and is extremely bright and personable. I cast lots of praise on the professional and wonderful exam this patient had already obtained. I think he is so great that I'm going to take the money from the second exam and take him out to dinner. I just have to make sure it isn't on the same day when I am that other guy at my other office. Then it would be like buying myself dinner.

p.s. This isn't the first time this has happened. I like it better when they are telling me how much better I am than evil me!

Since that "other guy" in the other office works for you and seems to not be the "good" one, you might consider getting rid of him and hiring a new one.

So was I, but on several readings it became clear (I think) that someone who forgot that it was O'Neille who gave this guy the first opinion, sought out his opinion again. I think. (By the way, O'Neille I charge for these translating services. Dinner will do.)

I suspect the confusion is that (despite the way its written) it was not O'Neille who was seeking the second opinion, someone (call him "Guy A") asked O'Neille for his opinion (the second opinion) even though it was O'Neille who gave Guy A the original opinion. (At least I think that's right. OK O'Neille, that's two dinners you owe me. )
