Visiting Alexandria, VA & Gettysburg, PA

Hi all,

I don't know if this is really a kilt night thing, but I'm going to be in Alexandria, VA on 5/29 (Thursday night) and then in Gettysburg, PA on 5/30 (Friday night). If anybody wants to meet up that would be great!

Seriously, though:
I live only 30ish minutes away, and have been frequenting G-burg since I was a tyke.... if you need any recommendations, I'd be glad to give you my 2 cents!

I've got plenty of info on the battlefield. As a youngster, the Revolution and Civil War were BIG interests of mine, so I'm very excited to see places that have I've always read about like the Devil's Den, Little Round Top, Big Round Top, etc....

I might be able to meet up at Gettysburg. At this point my wife and I don't have anything scheduled, or at least I don't think she has us scheduled for anything. A Friday evening might be a little tough though as I often have last minute service calls and they always seem to be on Fridays. Anyway, I'm sure we could work out any details as the time gets closer. I will be following this thread for further info.

One of my son's soccer teams (he's on 3) has scheduled a tournament that weekend, so I'll not be in Gettysburg on Friday night. But I'll still be in Alexandria on Thursday night with nothing to do!
