    Herding ducks? OK, that's funny, but I know the dogs just LOVE doing that.

    Actually it was explained by someone at the Highland Games this year that they actually train dogs to herd ducks, because they are one of the most difficult animals to herd. If a dog can herd ducks than it can herd anything.

    It was extremely amusing to watch though, very talented dogs and owners working together.

    I've heard this also!

    Plus, a whole herd of ducks fit in the back of a station-wagon, while you need a lot more to transport a herd of sheep!
