    My son's first kilt

Im considering getting my 2nd kilt and one for my son from USAkilts but have a couple of questions.

1st one...my first kilt was from a small UK company called Caledonian kilts...not sure if anyone is familiar with this company but i want to make sure Rocky's Semi-trad is a good choice.

2nd question...This will be my son's first kilt and although he is very excited about getting one i still think i should get him something like USA's casual kilt to start with....my question is the logo on the front....Can this be left off or taken off??

THanks guys for any help you can give me!

The semi-traditionals can best be described (in my mind) as a formal kilt made of a high quality washable fabric. It's of such quality that when visiting my clan table at a festival, the entire group had to check out the kilt when they found out it wasn't wool. Rocky will make casuals without the patch if you ask him to. Just let him know at the time of order.
If they outlaw guns, can we go back to using swords?

My son (known here on XMTS as Sinbad) has a Mcleod of Lewis (Loud Mcleod) USA Kilt.

It has velcro instead of straps (incredibly useful for putting on and off a little one). It is washable (a huge plus for a kid's kilt), and the USA KILT patch is a lot better than a kilt pin (it can't catch on things and destroy the kilt). The beauty of the velcro is that as that as your son grows it can be easily moved and resewn to fit him!

Rocky and Kelly are more than happy to leave the patch off if you request it.

    Here are some pictures:

Here is a picture of the two of us. I was delighted that Rocky included this in his gallery at USA Kilts:

Though Sinbad has since then claimed the red beret (with another USA Kilts patch sewn into it) as his own.

I highly recommend USA Kilts for a kilt for a child

    Cheers
