Check out the entertainment lineup for this years Williamsburg Scottish Festival. It looks like I'll finally get a chance to see Barleyjuice perform.(Albannach too)

I'd just like to point out that Poisoned Dwarf will be playing as well! And I'm sure my sister'll be dancing (Irish). Haha, I wish it were time for the festival already. I'm so good at being patient

Jerry, that is indeed a good lineup of musicians. I also enjoy the historian, David Ross. I'll be manning the MacCallum Malcolm Clan tent, it's first appearence there.
TKW, let's not rush things as there are a number of Scottish Festivals to enjoy before we get to October!

Fair enough, and I know Williamsburg isn't the biggest festival either, but I can pretty much bike to it; I love when they're so close! (I say "pretty much" because I've never biked in my kilt, so I'm not sure if I could manage it without being too indecent or ruining the kilt...

It depends on the bike. This'Townie' works well. And the sporran keeps the apron down.

Oh poop! I should have known not to say that!! They've moved it once again. It's not even in James City County. Granted, Lanexa is a pretty area by and large, but once the festival was maybe a quarter mile from my parents, then it was moved to a place a couple miles away and now into Lanexa? Soon it'll be the Charlottesville Scottish Festival. haha
Well, I for one see a silver lining in everything; it'll be a great excuse to stop by Pierce's Pitt BBQ (Yep, that's right-it's pit BBQ!) for a nice pulled pork sandwich either on the way up or back (or both!).

Pierce's Pit BBQ, have stopped there a few times traveling down I 64. I've spent a few hours this weekend working on a frame for my clan tent banner preparing for Williamsburg.
