Pub Wear
Is it a faux pas if I wore a glengarry cap with a clan badge with out wearing a kilt? Im pretty strapped for cash at the moment and Im trying to find something to wear at the pub and still "represent" as the homies say.
I cant buy the kilt I want right now (MacMillan Hunting Ancient) so what could I do to show my Scottish/ Clan pride? If anyone has a horrible problem with me not having a kilt, you can PM me and Ill give you the address for the Kilts for Poor Firefighters Fund!

Personally I think you could wear the glengarry with whatever you please. As far as kilts go, have you considered getting a SWK thrifty? For $28 it would allow you to represent...

I agree, if you don't have a kilt, wear what you have... I like the glengarry!

I might look into the SWK Thrifty? I also am looking at a MacMillan USAK, but was wondering if it was the MacMillan Black Tartan that the Clan doesnt recognize????

It seems that no one has addressed this yet, so let me...
Who cares if they "recognize" it...if you like it, wear it. I'm pretty sure that the MacMillans don't have a hit squad that will take you out for wearing a MacMillan variant.

That was a pretty cool visual in my mind..... The MacMillan hit squad coming after me. haha. Its more so that I prefer the Ancient Hunting tartan.
Thanks McMurdo but I already ordered! I didnt know if anyone was going to answer back....after reading your post I hope that the cap fits. I got a 7 1/4

Wow, it took less than a week for me to get my Glengarry from GlengarryHats.com, pretty cool. I think this is a good start in my steps toward my goal. I Was pretty excited, drank my MacMillan Clan Badge and pinned on my Scottish Oatmeal Porter.......
