New RRS Kilt
A while ago a UK manufacture was selling RRS kilts that had been produced for the MOD tender on Ebay, I picked up one of them, this is the first time I had it on.

Thanks,
as a slight aside I met one of the "old soldiers" at the event we had who was dotted about aged 94. Had been an Officer Cadet in 1933-36 and had joined up in 39. Had done a few things but had gone in on D Day with 6 Airborne Div and did the supplies for a month for which he had earned a French Croix De Guerre. Has a real interesting chat with him, quite a guy.

Very nice. I really like the set when worn properly with the uniform.
Very sharp Sir!

Looks wonderful, thanks for the pictures, it must have been a treat listening to the old soldier, one of the things I miss from my Uncle are his war stories.

Ahem...Nervous Jock is a serving officer in a Territorial Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, so I think he's earned his medals.

so how does he need to buy his kilt, are they not issued anymore? If I am wrong I am big enough to stand up and apologise. I served 9 years and never has to buy any part of my No1 or NO2 dress from ebay.
