    im looking to make a kilt for myself

    i want to make a kilt but im having a problem finding a pattern. do any of you guys have patterens you'd be willing to post

    You can get a pattern at walmart. Go through their pattern books, I've found one there before.

    From a bit of experience those patterns are awful to use try the xkilt first , then go from there.

    My (admittedly limited) experience is that a kilt does not need a pattern per se, such as a shirt or frock coat does, it is basically a simple garment, in the sense that it is a piece of fabric pleated to fit. The devil is in the details! Suggest you get a good book on the subject, such as Barbara Teweksbury's (link follows) http://www.celticdragonpress.com/ study it and go from there. Always remember that patience can be largely substituted for skill.

    thank you all you all are helping me soooooo much. im going to add allot of kilts to my wardrobe. and as soon as i get a proper camera i will post pics
